I have now managed to resolve it... similar to above...
I managed to restore to an earlier date to get online...
cleared files to create some more memory (although it didn't seem low)...

Can anyone help?

On Friday 12th July my computer decided to do an update and the result was that after about 3 hours of spinning dots... it wasn't going to happen... I managed to get it to reboot...
