Sadly for me it’s longer because it’s like 20 seconds black screen before I hit the splash logo and from there another 13 seconds. Maybe I will try disable the logo and see if that makes a difference.

If only there’s a bios tweak to set that off for faster boot.
Is that normal? I remember when i had 8600k, it booted within 18 seconds. Is this an AMD thing, sadly?
Nothing? Sorry
for those who have the Asus rog X470-I with Dan case and 2700x.
Has anyone experience longer boot time? I currently have 1080 ti with Asus X470 booting with wd black nvme and wd 1tb blue for...
I got to study more on this. Figuring out which mode does what.
See all that is too technical for me. I don't even know which mode to set on the BIOS. Some say 5 and most say 4. Thanks for your help :)
In the future I plan on upgrading to a 240 mm radiator...
Okay, I don't know what did it but now it's at steady 4.8 gigahertz. I set the CPU fan which is the noctua fan, at full speed 1200 RPM. The current CPU temperature is reading Max 73 degrees C. If...
I set it to auto.
Tried that, no bueno. I think i just have a bad motherboard. I should have gotten the ROG z370i when i had the chance. -.-
4 case fans and 1 for the cooler.
That is strange. I don't know if it's a defect motherboard. I might have to contact manufacturer for a replacement.
This is all that came up.

Here are both pics of before and during prime95 stress test. I only ran it for a few minutes to show the sensor status. And i don't exactly know where to look in event viewer for that specific error....
Ok. Will do. I will try again when I get back home from work. Thanks. Will post results .
So I change the BIOS settings based on the post above and downloaded prime95 version 26.6. running stress test at custom like the other post and a lowest score speed I see is 4.3ghz. sometimes 4.4...
I also noticed my bios shows legacy and not uefi. This is quite strange.
Ok cool. I will watch this in the morning. Lots of things to learn. Thanks. I will study this and see how to use the knowledge for my overclock. I never had an issue overclocking 8600k. Oh boy, 8700k...
Now i feel dumb. The original files were way over 2mb  Thanks guys.
Oh and i have updated the bios just in case. It's 1.40. The other one was 1.41.
Currently ran stress test and after 5...
I give up. It's not showing up in attachments or pics. -.-
It's not letting me upload pics here. 😕
Oh. I think I set it to line 5? Let me take a few pics of my bios real quick before leaving to work.
LLC? What's that?
That's I figured too. But it looks like I have the current bios update. If anything I will just reupdate. I never experienced this issue when I had the 8600k processor. But I will try that theory...
So, i have followed numerous sites based on overclocking 8700k on msi bios. As CPUID HWMonitor shows are what the 8700k is running and same with CPUZ. But as i stress test with Prime95, it shows...
I know that. What I meant is having one of each is ok side by side? I can get 2x 1440p monitors because I like ips for video and photo editing as well and only use tn for gaming. I am going to use x...
What about tn and ips?
