Do not recall when it changed but Crtl,Shift,Esc is Task Manager keyboard shortcut and Windows Key, Break is now System Properties !
If you have no plans or need to share, suggest you disable. One less thing for MS to squawk about !

Those folders with files in them, have you attempted to open with say notepad to see whats in them.
If not personal, do you mind sharing or posting pic of batch file ?

When you select Left Ctrl you are also selecting Right Ctrl when things are working right. That said, I would determine if your Left Ctrl is even working.
