Well it seems to be stable, I gave it a good clean out when I uninstalled itunes, so I'm going to wait until the end of the week and re install it, and then if its still stable everything's back to...
I've uninstalled itunes, and am waiting for the next crash (hopefully there won't be one!). If it does crash Ill update / check GPU and chipset drivers, sound like a plan?
That's what I did and I got that crash :(
Well that lasted a whole hour, logs attached <3
Should I install any GPU driver updates, and any drivers from my mobo company, or just leave it if it doesn't cause any issues?
Have done a clean install, and will update you as it goes :)
Keep or remove files on the install?
Will windows update install chipset drivers etc?
Nah not yet, I think Im going to have to as soon as I can :(
Got a couple of blue screens, attached the log collector.
It was running a bit more stable, but I just had a crash, but instead of a normal BSOD it said something along the lines of "Windows has encountered an error and needs to restart", no dump was made....
Surely all the installation cds for my hardware, or is that not needed?
I have done clean installs before, not with this issue though, and they have not normally helped. I could do a clean install over the weekend, as I need this PC during the week and I would need to go...
So:
I have removed the ATA device
How can I reinstall the storage drivers, as they are provided by windows so device manager wont let me do anything with them except check for updates?
I...
Well my pc just restarted, then BSOD'd without a dump, then restarted whilst in safe mode, this is getting more out of hand :( Imma try and work on those suggestions and see if anything helps :)
Uninstalled, will report back whenever something happens :) Thanks once again <3
Not sure if it means anything, but almost all of the BSODs occured in the same memory address, is this suspicious?
Ok so the bigger issue now is freezes/shutdowns, they are becoming much more popular instead of BSOD's
Welp another BSOD, if you want me to stop spamming the logs let me know!
Wow thats a lot of usual causes!
Just to clarify / remove some things of that list, as mentioned the RAM has passed memtest multiple times, none of my hardware is OC'd, BIOS is fully up to date.
...
Here are the logs
So when checking this I uninstalled the driver, downloaded and installed the latest driver they have, however it still appears in device manager as the 05/05/2015 one, (it was properly uninstalled...
Provided the dumps, had 3 crashes very close to each other, however I think this was because the first one happened during an update and thus caused an issue. Razer synapse (the driver manager) was...
Ok I will try these, it blue screened just now so I'll upload the logs when home and will turn on the verifier:)
As soon as I turned my pc on same thing happened within 2 minutes :(
