Sure, I have to have HAXM installed to accelerate the Android emulators, HT-v has to be enabled on the processor too. Hyper-V has to disabled for this to work, which is inline with what you said.

I do a lot of mobile app development which means I have to run emulators. I mainly use the Google SDK provided one which uses HAXM. This has the knock on effect of not playing nicely...
Actually, I know everything in Windows Programs and Features for Hyper-V is disabled.
I haven't checked if the management tools are installed, thats definitely worth checking.
