I just don't want to end up waiting a whole month for a price drop of a measly $10 or $20. If it drop $40 or $50 then its worth a month's wait.
I'll be building a gaming desktop and buying a monitor with built-in speakers. Do I need a sound card or will the speakers from the monitor suffice? Here's my build:
Intel Core i5-6500, MSI...
Do you know around how much you think the price will drop?
Appreciate the heads up. I wont use xfire or sli. Here's my build so far:

You said to...
But I'm not a system builder. What would be my limitation if I buy it for myself.
How would MS know that I don't got a genuine license?
How is that not legal? That makes no sense.
I'm in usa. Or maybe they sell a win 7 product key for cheaper on eBay.
If I buy a key, do I just then download a win 7 trial then enter the key and...
I'm not running any operating system cuz I'm in the process of building my desktop this week or the next. So I don't have any o/s at the moment. That's why I ask since I'm on a budget.
I want to know the cheapest way to get win 10. I read that you can buy a windows 7 key, install win 7 then upgrade to win 10.
I also read you can buy a win 10 OEM license for $20 and you get all...
Yes I'm in usa. I'll be buying this PSU for my build which is fully modular and gold certified:
EVGA SuperNOVA NEX750G GOLD 120-PG-0750-GR 750W ATX12V EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS...
I know OC is a good way to extend a PC's life. But in my next build I'll consider it.
Wow.. that's a lot if info to digest. I got to take time to absorb it. Appreciate it. I'll start to read...
WHOOAAA... $100 for a case for a budget build?? Nah I can't fork over that much. That represents 12% of the overall cost of my build. Can't do.
Maybe something half that amount but just as solid...
You said I should calculate the watts when taking OCing into consideration. But I won't be OCing. If you look at my build (link below), you'll see I'll be getting an i5 6500 processor. I also won't...
Will do.. thanks man.
I understand kipper. I'm just asked a few very last questions before I decide to buy my build.
Its just that I had used those links before and they gave me completely different results. As a...

Could you guys recommend a good, low cost computer case for my build? Here's the link to my build:

Can you guys check out my gaming build and suggest how many watts I need for a power supply unit? I'm not sure if I need 550 or 750 watts. I won't be using Sli or crossfire cuz I'll just be using one...
Appreciate the link. But the i5 6500 ($180) with the MSI mobo ($55) both from other sources comes to a total of $235. This is much less than the combo deals in Micro Center.
This is the mobo I'm...
The Intel 4790 is $300. I'm on a budget. The i5 6500 which I plan to buy is $180.
How do you prices will fall next month?
I don't understand your statement. I'm asking in my previous post about which of the 2 mobos I should get.
Btw, one of those mobos has a max ram of 2133. Is this future proof?
I need to buy a mobo for my gaming desktop. I got 2 mobos to choose from. One mobo has 2 ram slots which hold a total of 32GB ram. The 2nd mobo has 4 eam slots and holds a max of 64GB ram. Which of...
Hey blackrose.. appreciate the reply. As for the video card, I don't plan to play games over 60 fps. That being said, do you still suggest I get the 960? If so how future proof is it?
Appreciate it. I'll take a look.
Its the same price as the one in my build.
