partition magic worked fine as suggested, I forgot how great their app runs, in fact I used it to port my HD win10 to my SSD but that was 3 years ago and I was thinking of it as "EaseUS" for porting...

the recent w10 updates I have rec'd are resetting defaults, like default browser from chrome to...

the taskbar items get replaced with edge, microsoft store and ms mail, I thought they got busted for behavior like this? unfairly pushing their own apps because they have the o/s
