I just updated a desktop and a laptop. Both took about 10 min to download this update, another 5 minutes to prepare and about 5 min to reboot. But all is good now.
BTW: Ditto also uses CTRL+c and CTRL+v and does NOT have to be run as an administrator.
You could also try the FREE clipboard manager "Ditto" from Sourceforge Ditto clipboard manager
