How can I fix this. I have excellent backups. Is there something I need to restore besides the VHDX? Can I delete the AVHDX files? Thanks

I suffered for a long time from this dastardly problem. Every day Microsoft would assault me with aggressive "I'm gonna reboot" etc. And every morning I would start my day with a rebooted computer....
I've given up on this for now.
