It might depends on how you look after your system. If you visit safe sites all the time then it is ok. I do not use an Antivirus, because I only visit Facebook and Hurricanezone to check for...

Oh no please not another one I just finished the update now Preview Dashboard wants to update.
Nope all updates are installed and downloaded automatically. To stay online you will need to update your Xbox. If not updated it will kick you off Xbox Live.

Remember the HGST Deathstar? Now that is what I call one of the baddest Hard Drives I ever seen.
