Yes you CAN , not legally, but you can do it. In order to be legal, you would need to remove the first install and then you are allowed to install on another machine. As long as you install your 8.1...

Well I always had it on Windows 7 Home and it was definitely not an add-on.
Also just typing slmgr will show several pages of optional switches available.

All the screenshots that you are posting is showing that your router is 802.11n and broadcasting it's SSID on Channel 1 and 2.4Ghz. What router or routers are you using and trying to connect to?
