I have tried to replicate the issue on my end with a different make and model of the printer. And here are the findings:
1_ Connect the printer to the black colored USB port
2_ If it does not...
Can you try some other USB device to check the functionality of the ports ?
Are you trying to connect the printer to a USB 2.0 or 3.0 port ?
Try and disable enhanced usb host controller in Device Manager and check
Can you connect both the TV and the monitor to the AMD card. And then check ?
