Since 2015 this has appeared when I open Windows update on an old W7 desktop machine. The upgrade always crashed. Now this notice wont go away.177721
If no icc profile works I can only suggest you check the screen cabling connectors. The fault is specific to the laptop screen as plugging in a TV works OK.
Make sure you have ticked the "use Windows display calibration" on advanced tab.
Windows 10 version 1709 should have Control Panel- Colour Management. At least mine does :confused:
