I was playing with it again on the Lenovo laptop showing a person what to expect and somehow it worked this time. Why it worked this time and not before is beyond me. When I retried it on the two HP...
I was wondering about that. Apparently Windows Disk Management does not give the correct info for those special partitions. I will try MiniTool PWiz to see what it says. I tried it on my local...
Neither the HPs nor the Lenovo got updated. It started the install of the update and then got the 0x80070643 error. In all cases the Recovery partitions are empty. Here are the reagentc results. They...
We have three Windows 10 computers in our little community computer lab. Two are identical HP minis and the other is a Lenovo laptop. The two HPs have 980mb Recovery partitions. The Lenovo has a...
I am assuming that the first item in the "Safe OS Dynamic Update Package" list is what you want if you are at Windows 10 22H2 and fully up-to-date?

Somehow I have 2 Recovery partitions on my system drive. Do I need to remove 1? If so which one?

I was getting those before the update.

I ran the update. It appears that it might have changed the message in Windows Update referring to the fact that my system is not capable of updating to Windows 11. I remember a slightly longer...
OK,
I did not go down to the bottom to see the additional information.
Thanks
I saw that page but am wondering why I am getting this now and if everyone is getting it. It seems to imply that it will get updates for systems that have reached EOL. 22H2 is two years from that....
KB5001716 just appeared on my Windows Update list. It is an old update. I am wondering why it has popped up at this time. I am on Windows 10 22H2 (Build 19045.3448) and am current with all 22H2...
Isn't that sweet. Thank you Microsoft.

3. Double-click your network...
Did you check Device Manager to see if your network card fell into the "spoofing driver" syndrome. Microsoft is disabling drivers it considers not properly signed.

Can someone tell me what is going on with this update. I applied it Friday along with another .NET update (KB5011048). Then Saturday I got KB5028937 again. Does the left hand at Microsoft know what...
I think this is a lost cause. Trying to find a driver for it is pretty useless. This computer is about 10 years old but still works great. I intended to replace it this year anyway. I decided to use...
Applied the regular and .NET updates and now my Bluetooth has disappeared. I looked at Device Manager, showed hidden elements, and it shows. When I bring up info for the Bluetooth driver the message...
I applied this update (KB5027538) shortly after it came out. This week I received a .NET preview update (KB5011048) for v4.8.1 which I applied. Now Windows update wants me to reinstall KB5027538....
I hear you on the Dell BIOS updates. I have a Dell XPS laptop and followed the Dell Support forum for that device. BIOS bricking was an often posted issue there. In fact I found a post by someone who...
What make and model of computer do you have? Is your BIOS up to date? You might want to check your manufacturer's site to see if they have an update that might resolve the problem.

Its in "Other Updates".

Why am I not getting this update? It is not appearing on two of my computers. I even tried the Windows Update MiniTool and that does not pick it up either. The last one I got was the one released...
This was a wild update. I tried it on my 11 year-old Lenovo Thinkpad. I had the standard Microsoft Defender update, the Malicious Software Removal Tool, the Adobe Flash Removal Update, the Microcode...
