    The problem did not occur in Safe Mode (YES) but is back after a normal boot-up.
    I don't see any slow down when I circle the mouse, but the CPU usage will go up 1% while doing this.

    I don't think this is a problem with the mouse, since I am also having this problem with the touchpad on my laptop.
