Fairly fast installation - no issues so far :p
My Thinkpad T470s has also not been offered the 2004 update. But to resolve an issue on the previous update (the non functioning of the Sierra Wireless EM7455 WAN-card) I was advised to force the...
Fianlly I got the 2004 offered to my wife's desktop - 6 yrs old but still crisp and reasonably fast for daily task. But by God, this 2004 update is slow, an hour on getting prepared, a very slow...
..................and even in this update MS have not provided a solution to the WWAN-issue which has crippled my laptop. Since 2006, I have had Thinkpad T60's which have been updated all along...
The improvements listed does unfortunately not include my WWAN-issue :banghead:
The update installed OK on my Thinkpad T470s running Win10 pro. But my Sierra Wireless EM7455 is now not showing in "device manager" - but can be found in "hidden units" but described as not...

I am keeping an Thinkpad T60 from 2007 alive with the latest Win10-updates. Old and slow, but runs and updates with no issues.....:D
Of my 3 PC's, the two updated without problems. But on my antique Thinkpad T60 from 2007, at the end of the update (the cumulative) I got an error message telling that the update had been interrupted...
I bought a new SSD to replace my old HDD and was very surprised by the fact that the new SSD did not show up in Windows file explorer at all. The cure was that the new SSD had to be initialized using...
I have a Thinkpad T60 (yes, from the stone age :-)) which I am just out of curiosity updating on Win10. Up until 1803 this has been running smooth and fine with no issues.
But no 1809-versions will...
My Thinkpad T440 experiences similar symptoms, i.e. waking from sleep (by opening of lid) is very variable. Sometimes instantly, and sometimes a minute or two for no apparent reason. As Win10 is...
On my ancient Thinkpad T60, this update took about 5hrs to complete - no issues though:)
Smooth and fast upgrade on the ancient Thinkpad T60 - no issues:D
Thinkpad T60 (from 2006!), Win 10 Pro 32bit. Updated yesterday with the only problem of getting the error message for the unfinished update, but by pressing "retry" the installation went through...
To the discussion above on old HW. I got the lastest insider build on my very antique Thinkpad T60, and I must say that it has never functioned better on the previous systems - it has been through...
This was - for the first time - a real battle to get the newest build installed. From 16199, the WU tried about 5 times to install to the 16215, every time aborting and reversing to 16199. And the...
On my old brick (2006) of a Thinkpad T60, 32bit, the update took 2 hrs. 45 mins. but went smooth and no issues:)
Downloaded the 32bit .iso file for my T60 Thinkpad (10.5 years old), installed with no issues - amazing :)
And another new one - Copy / Paste from a notepad to E-Mail (tried both Edge & Chrome) won't work either.
That works fine here by me.
