Can't be the only change between 17127 and 17128, because for the first time in at least the past five builds, my PC completed an install and came to the logon screen with display working correctly....
Also, has anyone else recently had issues with graphics cards not initializing after updates? The past three insider preview builds including this one, I have had to wait until my PC made its "I'm...
This update REALLY doesn't like my Dell Precision T3600. It crashed my box during the first attempt to install it, and couldn't recover it; I literally just finished reinstalling Win10 and the first...
I couldn't get skip ahead for some reason. Was there some criteria that they used, or was it first come first served?
A little annoyed with 16215... I had to completely blow out my Dell 6210 laptop with SSD to clean install a retail build I had on an ISO, then upgrade to the most recent consumer upgrade, and ONLY...
I seem to be having issues printing under the new build to my HP Laserjet 4000. Tested with the built in PS drivers and with PCL6 universal print driver. Neither seems to work, although both printers...
Thanks for the share!
Yeah, I know. Fortunately, I found the posts describing the dll that needed to be replaced. Once I did that, the rest of it worked pretty well. All's good.
I wonder what they were trying to do with this build that jacked it up so badly? I haven't seen this bad a build since the early 6000 series builds.
Wow, 14901/5 were both so buggy for me. Sirius XM FC'ed every time I launched it, I couldn't take my Asus Transformer tablet out of tablet mode because I couldn't get to the system settings, just an...
No eval message on the desktop. Sweet! Must be close to the release version.
I know Dell has a program that you can generate a master unlock password with, using the service ID. Don't know if HP has a similar thing, but I have to assume they do.
Whatever dude. You were kinda rude to us; I'm fairly sure nobody cares how you fixed it at this point.
If your question is whether $WINDOWS.~BT shows with files hidden, the answer is no, that directory is hidden when the hidden box is unchecked. Therefore, you want to show hidden files and folders.
I do the same thing. Each time a new version drops, I make an ISO and keep it on an external HDD and build a DVD to install to other PCs from. I think I have pretty much every build since the 98xx...
I wish I had some sort of suggestion, but I haven't experienced this issue. I'm building my ISO as we speak from my install.esd file, which was exactly where it always is, in the sources folder. Good...
So one thing I noticed immediately; the watermark is gone from the desktop. That's cool.
Downloading now. Sweet! Happy weekend to us! I've been using the leaked 10537 for a few days now, no issues I've noticed; the common wisdom here, however, is spot on. Don't expect good things when...
Not that I see, but I guess I won't really know until the next official build is offered up. I'm still in the insider program on the fast ring, as far as Win Update is concerned.
Loaded up 10537 last night and left it to install when I went to bed. First impressions; fonts on icons a bit larger, does seem a tad snappier than 10532, action center has a new animation that's...
Well I'll be dipped in molasses... Sure enough, there it is. Thanks! Now I can make my ISO and not have to hunt for the windows update anymore! Thanks for your help!
If the update is completed, the install.esd file disappears, no? I found a file called 10532.0.150822-1406.th2_release_CLIENTPRO_RET_x64fre_en-us.esd but no install.esd . I tried to use decrypter...
So my machine has figured out that it has a new build to download; all is good in JoeyDVDZ-world. :)
Which goes to the issue I'm having. I had 10240 and it wouldn't pull 10532. I updated manually to 10525 from an iso I made from that update on another PC I use, but it still won't go to 10532....
Yes, but will that pull 10132, or 10240?
