Gateway speed will choke both, try connecting the NAS directly to the ethernet card to achieve your goal. Else buy a high speed router/gateway whichi can provide the said transfer speed.

Hit the flight mode, it will serve as switch.
Set the router/modem to dial/connect on its own, so it does not depend on anyting to connect.
on the network device, right click then select properties, then Power management, un-check everything there...
*probable cause is that the network device is put to sleep mode when idle for some...
Turn on file and printer sharing, turn on network discovery, disable password both for public and private connections on your windows 10.
reset the network device settings to default.
Try installing the driver from windows 7.
Turn on network discovery, turn on the file and printer sharing, turn on automatic setup for network connected device, turn off password, share the printer... do it on all units.
Check your browser's shortcuts under settings, there should be some links to the old site being triggered.
Or maybe a redirect page, because as of now it returns 404 and the only running site is...
