Dell is replacing the motherboard. TPM is just flat out missing. Very odd.
TPM options are missing from the BIOS. Verified they should be there....but alas they are not. Sounds like I have something else going on. I'll give Dell a call.
Security Devices is missing from my laptop. No TPM showing up. Ugggg
Going to do a BIOS update and hope that kicks something back in.....
I forgot my PIN is available, but does nothing. Crazy is that I just restored to 12 days ago.....and everything was fine then....but now is not. Wondering if the PIN is stored with the TPM or...
Thanks....but already went through all of that. I do not get any of the PIN reset options.
I think I have a Veeam Endpoint Backup from last week. I'll do a backup from now, restore from last...
I had to forcibly reboot my Windows 10 14342 machine today and when it came back fingerprint wasn't working saying there was no PIN set. I had set one, figured I could add it back. I go into Sign in...
I did a system restore back to nearly a month ago....and now it works. Wish I had an idea of what caused it. About to run updates again and see if it disappears again.
When I press/click on Start, and then type 'Power' for instance to get PowerShell, I want to right click and Run as administrator. Somehow that is gone. I can only Pin to Start. Did updates, reboots,...
Mine might be bigger since I did both 32 and 64 bit in the same ISO.
Does someone have a file size for a combo 32/64 bit ISO for both 10240 and 10586?
Thinking that 10240 is 6,213,468,160 bytes and 10586 is 5,888,409,600 bytes....just want to confirm.
[EDIT]...
Wow....though no small miracle it seems to be working. I guess the 5th rebuild is a charm. Now I can actually use this!!!
Seriously, this would have irked me to no end. I never take my hands off...
I am rebuilding the index again. What is interesting is that the 'We're getting search ready...' never seems to go away.
Everything is clean. Still says 'We're getting search ready...' Turning off the 'Getting to know you' in hopes that it helps.
The only folder not selected was c:\users\mark\appdata\roaming\microsoft\windows\start menu.....and there is nothing I care about in there. Only a couple of built-in Windows programs from the default...
Conflicting info. Grrrr

It is in the middle of indexing now. There are a lot of items to get through!
Lucky!
Everything I care about it is in %programdata%\microsoft\windows\start menu which appears to be in the indexing already.
Turned off all that on Cortana and now going to rebuild the index. I would only get 'Desktop app' results and not get 'Apps' as an option.
Should be 10240.
Have no problem getting other search results. Just want the applications first. 7/8/8.1 were like that.
No dice. Rebuilt it twice. This is going to bug me.
In Windows 7/8/8.1 I would press the Start/Windows button and start typing the name of a program (ie: Firefox, Word, etc) and it would pop up, learn, and as I did the same thing in the future.....I...
Did a fresh install on my Surface Pro 3 and trying to get the updates to run. I have seen it get stuck at 12%, 75%, etc. I have left it overnight with nothing running and wake up in the morning to...
