Slowly downloading, 10% after 5 minutes. :(
It failed twice for me, first a BSOD then after the first restart at ~35% i got the restoring back message.
Third time worked and everything seems fine, using it as primary OS.
Seems the same or maybe slightly more, like 2 GB extra.
Got a BSOD (IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL) at 21% and reverted back to 10. :(
Installing 70% (the online part of the install) on a 15 years old PC with legacy bios, no TPM, secureboot, etc.
Hopefully is gonna work and won't need to use the ISO and hacks to get it working.
Installed using the ISO, everything seems fine.
The annoying thing is Windows update giving me the same build so i paused for a week.
I uninstalled onedrive from control panel and installed again from the web but no change. I didn't do the sync reset because **** that, i don't want to lose everything synced due to buggy build or...
Onedrive seems broken here. It's using 50% cpu but can't see the icon or use it in any way.
Yeah, the setup doesn't work at all. I think i chose the arm64 version. :banghead:
I'll try again.
Anyone willing to share the ISO?
I made one using UUP compiler thingy then burn the image using rufus but it didn't work, it won't boot.
And it doesn't work on Firefox or Opera.
Good job MS!
Upgraded from 1809 to this build,I had to uninstall the battleye service to be eligible for upgrade.
No issues yet, seems really snappy,
Decoupling Cortana from Start was such a bad ideea, the...
Switch for a few minutes to high performance profile and see if it feels the same.
If the animations are laggy might be something with the GPU drivers, if it's when you open stuff that might be...
Definitely worth getting the Skippy build to test Sticky Notes 3.0 and Snip & Sketch. :banghead:
I have been installing the Fast Ring Builds on my primary machine for the last 3 years and thankfully I managed to skip the bad ones. I do have backups tho, so if something goes wrong i can restore...
Installed fine from 17723 but the right-click > new is still broken.
Right clicking on desktop and choosing new is still buggy. Explorer get stuck while service host state repository and windows explorer keeps the CPU at 50-100% for many seconds.
Just upgraded from stable to this build. The offline phase took 70 minute but everything went smooth and seems fine, for now.
I have Hibernation issues with this build and 17133, like once every 3-4 times it won't shut down the PC.
I'm not familiar with that powerplan. I know you get a custom power plan called AMD Ryzen Balanced Power Plan when you install the chipset drivers.
Try switching to Balanced just to rule this...
Are you using the Balanced power plan in Windows?
Make sure the C- states are enabled in bios, things like Cool'n'Quiet and stuff. By default these should be enabled, i think.
It might be preloaded and doesn't let CCleaner to clear the cache and stuff?
Go to settings > privacy > Background apps and turn off Edge from there.
Eve Online is the game i always come back to. I wish i had more free time to play it.
In celebration of 15 years of Eve they just released a new trailer.

Nice update btw :(
Windows Update Troubleshooter didn't fixed the issue.
Seems fine after the second restart.
