If that doesnt get you anywhere, you could borrow one of my winpe so you can see what you are doing.

Diskmgmt screenshot only shows the (presumably cloned) new 1tb and some other 4tb. The original 500gb disk is not in the screenshot.

why capture the original partition as a .wim and then apply it ?

In disk mgmt rt click C and mark it active
open an administrator cmd prompt and type:
bcdboot c:\windows /s c:
(then press enter)

Not necessarily an issue. Boot critical files should be on the partition marked Active. That can be the same partition as the os or a different partition.

Did you check in disk management to see if the partitions exist and if a drive letter can be added?
