you made the folder on R then pointed reagentc at the non existant folder on S
I think that was a mistype by Megahertz
look at the screenshots. They are before he started the partitioning operations. It is curious.

Curious about what...
It is best if the esp partition is at the beginning. Which would mean shrinking the os partition from the right to create space for the esp partition..
reg query showed firmware boot device as disk 0 partition 1.
Might be his bios reads ntfs partitions looking for efi folder. Mine does.
at admin cmd prompt type
bcdedit
(then press enter )
Boot means the partition you are currently booted into.
It does not tell you where the boot manager is. The boot manager should be on the System partition.
at administrator cmd prompt type ( or copy and paste the below line)
REG QUERY HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control /v FirmwareBootDevice
(then press enter)

It tells you you are booted into the operating sysetm on C. The boot manager should live on the system partition.
Where is the boot manager for your current os?
What is your goal ?
100mb is the minimum for an esp partition.
The last time I tried it took several minutes. Depends on your hardware.
I would try running bcdboot at cmd prompt from winpe .
If that doesnt get you anywhere, you could borrow one of my winpe so you can see what you are doing.
do you have another windows machine...
Those are the Vista drivers.
I uploaded them and lots more back in 2016

oem motherboards usually come with key in the firmware which is picked up...
F11 is the one time boot menu.
I expect you can on a consumer mobo that recent.
Which one? You havent filled in your system specs.
If you are paranoid, try disabling disk 0.
imaging your os , deleting the partition and then restoring the image is not a good idea.
If you...
success. It has found the boot manager on the wd esp partition.
They suggest something called autoclicker which I hadn't seen before

endurance scales with size. An ssd with a decent lifespan can be moved to a newer machine in the future.
I would. That 250gb mx200 is quite old and very small. ssd prices are high right now unfortunately.
wow. I think I still have the same cpu on an ancient asrock mobo. Cant remember where I put...
