I tried running BurnInTest, and it revealed memory errors. Curious... I reran memtest (Windows) and tried memtest86. Neither of those showed anything. So I tried BurnInTest again, memory errors.

The 3TB drive passed all the Seagate tests. However, the system still crashes (see the previously reply).

I've swapped out the 750GByte drive, now it's only the SSD and 3TB drive. This now shows up in HDTune:62462

I ran chkdsk /r /f on both drives. I'm backing up the smaller Samsung drive onto the newer 3TB drive - in the process it crashed with a bug check in NTFS about three times. I'm going to swap the...
The smaller Samsung drive failed the long generic test; I ran chkdsk and found it detected bad blocks. Would this be the cause of crashing?

The 'network card' is the motherboard. I do have a spare DLine network card I could try instead of the onboard one.
