seems some think this thread is about activation, not hardware compatibility... ah well...:think:
It seems the rest of my systems is catching up so I think all has been updated with zero issues that I am currently aware of.
Which I do, but why is that important in regards to hardware compatibility? It only asks for activation AFTER the hw rebuild is done and I corroborate that everything works...
Last few months, latest today, I have changed motherboard, gpu and cpu several times on a few desktops and not once have I ended up in a situation where Windows somehow died or had serious troubles...

Well, it is a mix. As mentioned earlier my Lenovo laptop got it day 1, or maybe day 2, the rest of my machies are an HP Desktop, another Lenovo laptop and three homebrews, mostly Asus components, so...
Some kind of IP filtering has been suggested, but I haven't seen anyone provide evidence of it...

Well as it is I store all mails on server using IMAP, but that is getting out of hand as well with well over 30GB of mails..
I would have to check how the mails are stored. If I use local storage...

Yes alphanumeric, I tied my comps to MS . Tried doing it a while ago but turned out I had to log on to every comp using my MS account and that was a no go, so I waited and now they improved on it so...
...and now I see why it did not work.... götterdämmerung, I don't have an outlook address as primary...
