thanks mate, that works just fine. although now I don't know what exactly this would have removed because I've already applied all the reg entries, I'll test it out next time!

It shouldnt be this hard to get an efficient explorer to ones taste but apparently it is. I've used all reg files in here to get rid of the clutter but some still remains....
thank you all so very much for your feedback. sorry, been away for a bit. I'll read through it and see what I can integrate into my workflow. I was afraid that after 100s of billions of dollars spent...
so, this has probably been discussed a thousand times but my head is spinning from reading all posts and google search results and what not.
I think I have a relatively easy requirement and I also...
Hmm. I never get file explorer to crash. All apps I use produce valid files in folders whose paths are waaay too long. I can even get file explorer to create files and folders outside of its comfort...
This is pissing me off! Has been for years now. How can MS still not have a file explorer use the extended API functions so it can actually work with long file names and paths?
My classical music...
it’s all good. it works. that’s what’s count.
it’s so fast I cant even read it properly
1909 throws some errors when running the bat to restore the previously backed up settings. it still seems to work ok though as far as I can see.
Screw OneDrive. Google Drive Filestream rocks.
oh brilliant. I just saw what you mean.
Audio Sample Rate = Frequency
Audio Sample size = Bit Depth
They are both indeed listed in the details pane. Didnt thinl to lool there.
Now, how do I...
that’s bit rate not depth. I need bit depth and frequency. thanks though...
Does anyone know of a way to get bloody file explorer to show audio bit depth and frequency in details view. there seems to be no column heading for those.
Can I hack/reg-add/some-other_way this?
Sad. :-(
It is “just” a display thing though, right? No actual irregular CPU usage occurs...
No not really. For whatever reason, the shortest period I can choose in storage sense for keeping a local copy is 1 day, not 0.
So 1D will always keep a local copy for at least 1 day before...
I’m either using this all wrong or cant figure it out.
Is there no way to get OneDrive to never store a local copy and basically only show cloud stored server side data in my OneDrive folder in...
Is this seriously still not fixed and made it to the final release yesterday?
I still see completely inaccurate CPU load figures in task manager...
So now I know the difference between load-balancing and bonding. Never mind my question, I could use a physical separate load-balancer, my 2 network cards or flash my router with a DD-WRT or Shibby...
I‘ll test
Thanks but that seems to refer to SMB LAN transfer only.
Sure? My firmware on the Netgear router allows to repurpose one of the LAN ports to be another WAN port.
"Dual WAN works in two modes. “Failover” means using one of the connections, and when it’s...
Not sure if that's even something to ask here but I'll try anyway.
Since my current cable connection is still paid for the next couple of months and my new fiber access is already activated I...
hehe, thanks. not gonna do that though. I refuse to revert back to the early 2000 with its styling hacks to get it to look and work the way you want. how have we ended up back where it all started? ...
Does anyone know how to get the text in the tiles to center, like the icons?

Is there by chance a reg file in the works to add iCloud Drive to the Windows file explorer navigation pane just like OneDrive? I tried getting it to work using Brink Google Drive reg file but I seem...
