Solved, reset all services.
I've done anything and everything you can...sfc...dism...reset the store, etc.....even going back to Oct 17th (FCU) with a full disk image.
About 2 min after boot from a full shutdown, it keeps...

Ran an SFC scan and found corrupt files and repaired them...in process of 2nd scan...looks like they put out a less than stellar update!!

Hi Alicia, Try shutting off your I pads and phone around the time the drop occurs...Its not the modem or any physical connection it seems. Some app or program on your system or network is sucking up...

Windows Defender and MBAM Anti-Exploit are fantastic together. Minimum resources and IMO very good protection, along with common sense, of course. I dumped Avast and have no regrets.

Silly question maybe, but have you tried running the windows update trouble shooter? had the same problem last year in a 7 machine, ran the trouble shooter and it immediately started updating.
