It turns out that it kind of fixed it. The color mixer is awesome for fine tuning the exact color I wanted. To bad the menu didn't include translucency too, but I tweaked the darkness and saturation...
Just a thought...when you see the ASUS logo for the 1:20, do you also see the Win 10 loading animation circle graphic? Depending on how my bios is set, the Win 10 boot animation will just overlay...
If you have the option to enter into BIOS for 1:20 , then it's most likely a BIOS issue.
Did you change any of the boot optimization or expansion card settings? Both those options can cause...
Wow, thanks, that's way easier than searching around in the registry.
For example, the "active" green border color around my settings window clashes with the rest of my theme. Does anyone know how to set the color on elements like this?

I enabled the dark theme and I really like the way it looks. I'm just trying to tweak it to my own preferences. I found 2 places in the registry where I thought the adjustments would work, but they...
Mines a recent custom desktop build, running Win 10 ver 10130.
Mine boots into a lockscreen(wallpaper), then I just click anywhere and I get the login credentials. The only time I have a problem...
Here's a picture of that popup, but there's not any restore info there...

Thanks, I should have been more clear. I found where it should be in the Network and Sharing Center, just clicking the link next to Connections. In my case I was getting the below picture:

I'm guessing he's referring to the lack of good inbuilt driver support for his hardware in Win 10. Since there are no Windows 10 drivers available yet for most hardware, we rely implicitly on...
I would guess we are nowhere near being able to do away with the page file. On the hardware side of it, there are too many people around the world that still have sub-standard PC's and HDD's that...
OK, it seems Win 10 has changed the functionality. When you click the properties of the Picture folder, there is a location tab, you can select to move the directory anywhere from there. You can even...
There is no 1 answer to cover all here, it depends completely on your system. Generally speaking...
If you have an older or slower system with less than 4GB of RAM, especially with a HDD, and...
Are you logged on with an administrator account?
I'll try to recreate this error on my Win 10 shortly.
ESO - Elder Scrolls Online is working fine.
It cant hurt (much) to try. Here's THE SCOOP on Guru 3D.
Sorry, I'm not at my Win 10 installation atm, but can you right-click the default Pictures folder and select properties? If you can, try adding a new folder(Include a Folder) from that menu and it...
Haven't had any problems here, its been extremely stable. Are you trying to use a non-standard resolution/aspect ratio other than 16:9 ? Does it do it both with and without the NVidia driver?
I agree with the reasoning that as long as everything is still accessible, it doesn't really matter how we access it, we can adapt, and help each other.
That said...I have yet to find the wifi...
Not so much a disadvantage as a trade-off. While on one hand you are moving unnecessary write cycles away from the SSD and preserving the long term integrity of the SSD, on the other hand you are...
Will we just lose the Start Menu GUI access to the control panel? Would win+r > control still work, or will the executable be removed too?
<edited for clarity>
I normally disable the swapfile completely and everything runs great, but Samsung Magician (for my SSD), turns it back on by default and sets it to 200MB ->1GB. However, if you read Samsung's...
Thanks Bill. I tried that workaround too, but the Bug is still there. I'm sure it wont be long before the next fast version is released. I haven't noticed any other problem in regards to this bug...
It's not an Nvidia issue, its definitely a Microsoft issue, confirmed with 4 different Nvidia drivers. It still crashes in 10130.
