Disk clean up had already been ran so there shouldn't have been any temp files left.
I think its more just that the system is bogged down with all the activations and it's just taking longer for it...

I contacted support yesterday. As you would expect first line are useless if it's not on the script.
It was escalated to line two who phoned this morning after it had activated by itself.
On the upgrade it activated fine, on the fresh install it gave me the product key was blocked error.
On log in this morning it has activated.
My copy activated itself this morning, so looks like it just takes awhile.
I have the same problem.
I upgraded my 8.1 pro which worked fine.
The fresh install there after refuses to activate, MS support (line 1) were unable to help, it has been escalated to line two who...
Sure at this point i'll give anything a try if it means i don't have to keep doing the cycle of uninstalling and reinstalling.
I seriously hope this issue is fixed prior to release.
I had the sound problem initially, this was resolved for me, by installing the latest GPU drivers as mine is hooked up by HDMI. And Windows 10 seems to have a passion for installing old video...
Your overcomplicating a simple problem.
The latest AMD GPU driver is 14.12 ( for CCC bundle) 15.6 for the pure driver if you want to use the beta drivers.
This install and work fine.

This little problem is starting to get on my nerves.
I have installed the latest AMD GPU drivers for my R9 290, and every day seemingly at random points Windows 10 decides to download and install...
So what about the people running 10 TP, are they not worthy of being able to reserve their copy, that they have to roll back to avoid downloading it on day 1.
