    Hi. I want to control a specific timespan when it hides. E.g. I am using the taskbar, then I move my mouse away from the taskbar, and it auto-hides, after 60 seconds. (not auto hide immediately).

    Would you believe it? I just uninstalled the driver in Device Manager, which automatically removed the ATA Channel, and re-scanned for hardware changes. Voila, SSD now showing up.

    Nope, not listed.

    About half an hour ago I checked to see whether it's faulty, so ran it as a primary drive in AHCI mode. Win10 installed perfectly, in just a few minutes. So drive is fine.

    Obviously I can't run in AHCI mode, because the HDD will fail to boot Windows.

    Because the whole point is that Win 10 OEM is illegal unless you're a system seller.

    But Win 8 OEM is actually legal for personal use, thus a cheap way to get Windows 10 for free.
