Yeah I know! Great loss!
I've spent a lot of time, testing RST drivers and Plato (a very knowledgeable Greek guy) along with Dieter (the forum starter, retired a couple of years now) had...
True.
Both the Intel ME and the RST (Rapid Storage Technology) are tricky. AHCI mode RAID mode....
So I've decided to let Windows Update to take care of their updates.
It's got both 3 and 4 Configurator deamons but only Nh3 inf file.
But again we know that Mokichu knows what he's doing!
See you rely on other people's knowledge and you cannot help me....shame on you!
:roflmao:
Just joking Cliffie. You know how much I appreciate your help and advice!
Meaning that it should be A-Volute Nh4 Audio Effects Component.
But I haven't seen it and I've no idea if that makes sense or not.
From what I've seen, the version 3 is called Nahimic 3 APO, whereas the other one is called Nahimic 4 APO.
Sorry for sounding ignorant, as I'm not an expert in Nahimic, but does the Nh3 in "A-Volute Nh3 Audio Effects Component" dictate the version required? I.e. version 3.xxxx
Thanks a lot for the test Cliff..:-)
It looks good to me....what do you think?

The PowerShell script is intended for people who want to manually update, by downloading new drivers from Microsoft Update...
Hi and welcome to TenForums :-)
Yep. For each audio component in Device Manager, just point to the folder with the new drivers and let it do its thing! :chuckle:
Just have in mind that only the...
You're most welcome! :-)
Let's start from the end....Nahimic and DTS need to be searched in MUC separately as they are not part of the 'Basic' Realtek driver.
The Realtek Audio Effects...
Hi Mervil.
The 'hdxasus.inf' is the inf file needed for your audio device base driver. If the downloaded cab file doesn't include it and even if it includes it, the file doesn't contain your HWID...
if everything was updated, no need to.
I just proposed the way I do it. You did it your way and that's fine too! :-)
Create one folder named Audio Update and within this folder create one subfolder per cab file.
Then in device manager go to each audio component (Realtek(R) Audio and each Software Component) and...
Since you got it right....:-), sort the entries in MUC, by 'Version', or by 'Last Updated' and pick the latest one.
What I do (which isn't necessarily the best approach) is to try to match the...
