Might as well return the card as unless Rogers gives you a modem/router that has a 2.5 gigabit port on it, you will never get faster than what you get with the onboard lan.
Oh and the only reason...
Likely find that he has Rogers gigabit and it is over provisioned seeing as gigabit cable tops out around 940 mbps.
You can not get 1200 out of a 1000 port, no matter what the agent may have said.
So what made you think that adding a 2.5 gigabit card would do? Other than the weird 100 mbps thing, it will not in any way get you a faster connection to the router if the router only has GB ports.

Probaly find he is referring to this,
@BIOS (gigabyte.com)
which for the OP is not the BIOS but just a Windows BIOS update utility.
Probably find the IMC doesn't like that speed with all four slots populated. Try running with the four sticks but only at 3200 MHz, and see if it is stable there.

Make sure the cable from the router to the computer is at least Cat 5 rated.
Ever considered putting it in bridge mode,

Not physically or thermally possible. It is impossible for a CPU (or anything else for that matter) to run below the ambient temperature unless using some sort of exotic or extreme cooling (think...

Despite it being a custom board, the chipset drivers still come from AMD regardless of what HP may have renamed them.
The only "integrated graphics" it had came from the 2400G APU that was in it. Wynona has since switched it out for a R5 2600 which has no integrated graphics in it. There is no integrated graphics in...
