Ah. Well, the recent Microsoft Update solved the problems that were under discussion in this thread for most of us.
One computer still has trouble finding network drives when rebooted to finish...

Linw,
Two of my Dell computers have nvidia graphics drivers and neither had issues with the upgrade. The XPS15 laptop is nearly 4 years old and the Optiplex9020 was bought new last spring.
Nice to meet you too, Linw.
LOL! I didn't mean to diminish or insult anyone. I guess that my comment gives credence to the old saying, "Everything is relative."
I hadn't experienced the problem until I upgraded my laptop,...
After reading tzr916's response, I checked the laptop and noticed updates were downloading. I applied them. It went smoothly and all the mapped drives reconnected, as they ought to have done all...

From the link that Railtech posted the other day, I found this new link:...
The first thing I did when I couldn't find all the networked computers via file explorer was verify that they remained in the same workgroup, which they did. My Workgroup is named MSHOME. It was...
Thanks for the link, linw. I've bookmarked it and, maybe one day, a solution will be forthcoming from MS.
To your comment above, MS was certainly prepared to take a credit card number from me an...
I hope this is a true statement. Is it possible to put up the link to the thread you are referring to here?
I upgraded both of my Windows 7 Professional computers to Windows 10 during the past...
