The Reflect boot menu was corrupted by the update. I always install that as well. Reflect in general was corrupted by the update - no component of it would work properly.

I found a Macrium boot flash drive, and restored the 11th OS image. As soon as I got back into Windows, KB5034122 (the other problem update?) was already 20% installed before I could "stop updates...
