I've had to go back to 8.1 and as Microsoft seemingly have no intention of sorting out their latest abortion of an operating system it's where I'll be staying.

I have a similar problem with various taskbar functions not working (start button, volume et al), I did a restore to two days previous and everything is now working ok.

I don't see why I should be...
