Tried updating the BIOS a second time this morning. It blue-screened again, more or less at the same place (actually started reading the file this time). The system had remained perfectly stable for...
Yes, my data is backed-up (the important stuff, anyway).
A notification informed me that the screen might freeze for a few seconds during the BIOS update and asked me if I was sure about...
It blue-screened whilst updating BIOS!
Luckily it still boots okay. Do you think I should risk a second attempt?
Another escalation occurred yesterday - it failed POST (infinitely repeating long beeps), which it has done many times before, but this time wouldn't pass even after several resets. After removing...
I tried, but the system isn't stable enough. I managed chkdsk by booting into safe mode w/ command prompt. It reported no errors, but gave a "failed to transfer logged messages to the event log with...
Lasted longer in safe mode, but still crashed (black screened this time). Managed to run the dump file collector tool and transfer to a flash drive (see attachment).
Well things have gone from bad to FUBAR. The system is now completely unusable. I can't even get the dump files off it to post here - it crashes too quickly. I eventually managed to turn driver...

Don't think my BIOS has XMP (I haven't seen it). I'm able to change RAM frequency and voltage manually though, so same difference?
The target voltage is already set at 1.500v but it's achieving 1.488v when I check in status monitoring. So, to clarify, should I set target voltage to 1.512v?
I screwed up the product link - it is 2x4GB and NOT 4x2GB.
XMS3 — 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1333MHz C9 Memory Kit (CMX8GX3M2B1333C9
Motherboard is correct.
Memory, close. It's actually the XMS3 — 8GB (4x2GB) DDR3 1333MHz C9 Memory Kit (CMX8GX3M4A1333C9).
I previously ran the 1600Mhz version (2x2GB), but my processor only...
Interestingly, the system spec. tool can't identify the RAM.
The RAM frequency is 1333Mhz and voltage 1.488 (DDR15V is the RAM voltage, right?)
Crash1: froze at login screen. No BSOD, not dump.
Crash2: froze on Youtube homepage. No BSOD, no dump.
Crash3: BSOD at login (I think).
Crash4: BSOD trying to post here.
Crash5: Froze while...

Thank you for the welcome and reply.
I've done all of the above. Now just a case of waiting to see if another BSOD event occurs.
Experiencing what appears to be random BSOD events. This has been going on for some time now. I've recently switched from Windows 7 to 10, but the problem followed.
Bug check points to...
