All is well. After the november update, I plugged in the usb cord for the monitor and I got a BSOD. But this time, after a reboot, my pc took its time coming back. The BSOD didn't happen after that....

Good advice, but that route is just plain foolish on Microsoft's part too keep changing older drivers that are working fine under windows 7 and are the latest under it.

For me, I solved it by unplugging the usb cable from my Dell SX2210 monitor from my computer that supported my mic and built in webcam. Then it worked. But now that I am upgraded, I get the BSOD...
