Bumping this up to add some new information. I have not tried another GPU, but at some point I plan to get a GTX 950 because it's affordable and much better than my GTX745, I can check if the issue...

I have tried an older driver to the same result, I'll contact them later then I guess, bit busy right now.

getting another GPU is pretty out of the question right now. I would have to borrow it from someone else and I don't really know anyone who would be willing to do that.
