Question : How do I know if my prepaid sim card that I am now using is 2g, 3g or 4g ?

I took my sim card out and I only saw a set of numbers which means nothing to me.........

I am afraid I'll need you to clarify.......
What do you mean " you need a 4g " sim " which virgin give for free...."?
I am not aware Virgin is giving anything away. ??
P.S. I am in Canada, not UK....
