Okay, the issue now is only present when I switch between wifi networks. I had to reset network when I tried to connect to my work wifi, then I had to do it again when I got home to use my home wifi.
*UPDATE*
This issue is now resolved, deleting the registry entry for hosted networks and rebooting did fix it. Sorry for late update, but was working 16-20 hours a day the last few days, so was...
I think it was because updates were trying to load through "kyle" and not the current network. This could be why the system was trying to use that network randomly while on instead of the one I told...
So far so good, the WiFi seems stable, has kept connection through several reboots.
On a side note, my Windows Store and Windows Updates now work too, was having issues with them as well, this...
The Network "Kyle" must be a network that was automatically setup by windows. I did a search on hosted networks and it apparently is internet sharing, as in an Ad-Holic network the computer runs. I...

It is still doing it, but I have found that when the laptop tries to get a WLAN IP, it gets a link local instead. If I go into my wifi settings and manually set the information, then go...

This is a...
I have been having issues with my laptop.
I have an HP Envy DV7 Model: C2N70UA
It was turned off for a few months, and when I turned it back on found out I could not connect to the internet,...
I just don't like how MS invalidates your key after so many days after upgrade of your old OS, making it after I believe 60-90 days you can no longer downgrade to the old OS, since that key is no...
I am trying to figure out who they talked to, I didn't read the full article just skimmed it a bit, but both Dell and HP are recommending the upgrade and both have worked hard at having drivers ready...
I had massive issues with system overheating for some odd reason after doing an upgrade from 8.1 to 10, but once I did a fresh install of 10 no overheating.
