I had the same problem with Windows Live Mail so I changed over to Mozilla Thunderbird. :cool:
It also has more bells and whistles than WLM.

Sorry I forgot to mention I don't use Google Chrome - Microsoft Edge and whenever I click on the new notification it opens Microsoft Edge and shows a new advertisement every time.

Just to let you know that my Insider Preview (Build 14251) was updated to Build 14257 and I can now print from Windows Live Mail 2012. I did not have to uninstall WLM after all. ;)...

I can print from most programs but not from Windows Live Mail 2012. This has only happened since the Insider Preview was updated to Build 14251.

I got a Windows 10 update the other day and it may have contained an update for this problem because the "Windows Startup sound" is back now.

I noticed that all the Technical Preview (Evaluation copies) updates do not contain any Windows Startup or Welcome sound. Will the final release of Windows 10 contain a start up sound ?
