Looks like I'll have to just buy 4 and use 3 of them
I own a pair of powerline adapters by ZyXel model PLA4201v2. They are an old model, so they are not manufactured or sold anymore. My sister needs to have another powerline adapter in her room to get...
I'm trying to find the latest Intel MEI Driver, but all I can find is downloads from third-party websites. Is there no download from Intel's page for Windows 10 64-bit?
Since Realtek has updated its page, I am unaware of which download I need for my Realtek GBE Family Controller. How do I find the right one? Thanks.
The Intel Graphics Control Panel (igfxTray.exe) refuses to run. I've reinstalled the graphics driver, but a shortcut isn't created and I can't run it in admin from the file location. Help please!
Well, level 2 technician said it was a compatibility issue between the Creators Update and my Gigabyte motherboard (GA-H81M-DS2V)... and he was right! I did a final clean install of the Anniversary...
Thanks for the suggestion, but that's the very first thing I tried xD
When do I have the opportunity to check stuff? I don't remember seeing it.
Yeah thanks I did that after searching the issue up xD
Turns out, and I'm feeling like this is correct, that the Creators Update maybe isn't compatible with my PC for some reason. 5th clean install we go!!!!!!
No luck there, but thanks. I'm now on with the Level 2 technician, but it turns out I can't be in the insider build if I want his help, so I'm clean installing Version 1703 Build 15063.0 again. Oh...
Thanks for the script, but when I try to run it red text appears and the window quickly shuts down
EDIT: I'm an idiot nevermind... Had to copy and paste script in a administrator powershell
Huge thanks to Caldeon Ken, WOT and Superfly for trying to help out with my problem. It really means a lot. :D
Ooo I'm now getting a Level 2 Technician from Microsoft to help me :D
Upon trying to do del "%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Application Data\Microsoft\Network\Downloader\qmgr0.dat" , system cannot find the path specified
Thanks for all the help, man.
I also can't recreate getting windows update to work... damn...
I didn't know I had to restart after disabling driver updates. When I found it didn't resolve the problem, I re-enabled it, which is why I have driver updates now. As for the troubleshooter, I ran...
I was correct - the error returned after reboot. However, before it returned, it found cumulative update KB4016871 and downloaded it again (didn't install it, possibly because it found it was already...
I managed to get rid of the error and am currently installing updates. I will say the steps I did in hope that it will help diagnose my error.
"net stop bits/wuauserv/cryptsvc" in an elevated...
Just ran chkdsk /f /r and it worked on reboot! The clean install must've done something magic :)
...Will take some time to finish the chkdsk though
Disabling didn't fix the error
Just did another clean install after chkdsk /f /r... Issue still persists...
Am I doing these clean installs wrong? :P

I'm not sure if I've tried to disable WU driver updates... Could you please tell me how I go about that?

Thanks for offering your help. I've executed chkdsk /r in an elevated command prompt and I entered "Y" to confirm a chkdsk on reboot. However, upon reboot, the PC boots as normal, and chkdsk does not...
