Well it's not like they refuse to fix it.. Maybe they haven't found a fix, or maybe they have other things higher priority.

search for sw3-013 (or whatever your model is) and go to Application.

Scratch that, I just noticed that Acer has released a program on their website called "Mode Change Indicator", after installing that it works!

Same issue with my Acer switch 10 as well, it has never worked. :(
