I used to hate IE and would use firefox... Never really liked chrome either but the new IE 11 in the windows 10 TP is actually very nice and so far has not crashed once. ... now with that being said...

I don't see it as an icon on the desktop, or in the all apps list. where would I check for it?

when the machine boots up there is a boot screen giving the option to roll back to the previous os on the computer, plus it looks like it took up more disk space not that that is a main concern.
