After trying to use with 2 different Crucial MX200 1TB drives, I used a Samsung EVO 850 1TB drive and it is now working. Thanks to all who brought suggestions and comments.

They are brand new SSDs. I have 2. Both exhibit the same problem(s). Partitioning and copying 500GB of files work fine. It is only when the OS is installed are there problems.

I cannot get it to run from upgrade or ISO distribution. Hangs with ntfs errors.

I have the same problem on an Asus laptop. The problem appears to be the SSD. If I use a HDD 10 works fine. 10 not ready for primetime yet.
