Quick update
I have 0 idea why this works but, I went into chrome changed download location from D drive to C drive.
After its downloaded I then can move it to the D drive.Why it will not work...

Ok so i tried a quick mp3 via explorer. Downloaded save as C-user-download and it worked.

So what does this mean how can i get it to recognize disk D, or get new download via Chrome to save to...

D is a micro SD card. How would make a download go to the C drive since i have moved it to the micro SD card?

It still will not show the box. It seems the computer can not find the downloads.

Ok i ran in with explorer. Save instead of run. but when i hit properties in downloads this is what i get. 40687

40684It doesn't matter what I try to download. I've tried several things. Even a MP3 file will not work. Tried to show a screen shot but it was in a PNG format.

When using explorer it gives me the options of - view or open. If i choose open it says this file can not be opened it might have been moved or deleted.

The only options after downloading is open or show in folder. Then just disappears from the bottom of the chrome page after i click open.

If i go to downloads and click open it say this app...

Using windows 10 on a Surface 3. I've tried to download several programs from the internet using chrome and the explorer that comes with windows 10.
