I wonder if a patch came out the day yours stopped working.
I am using the same type of NAS linw. WD MyBookLive (white one with blue light)
I used to use Credentials with build 9926. I would use 'Add a Windows Credential' and then put in my NAS Address Name along with a password if one was created. I have not been able to get this to...
Thanks BADROBOT. MS needs to put out something new soon hopefully..
I have done clean installs of 10049 and 10056 and both are not able to see the NAS
You can get to it by IP address to be able to map a drive but that still doesn't fix what Microsoft has once again broke!
Bet you cannot see any Network Attached Storage in these last two releases either. They sure have the Networking AFU !!
I can no longer see my Network Attached Storage in this build(10049) Enterprise. I have Network Discovery enabled and can get to the device by IP Address in a browser but am unable to map a drive to...
:chuckle: OK, I have found the issue causing my problem. I would NEVER believed this unless sitting in front of the computer doing this myself. The battery in the Laptop has not been charging for...
Here is just another piece of info about this debacle. I can remove the hard drive and install it into another Laptop then install Windows 10 Build 10049 and create a local account. Shutdown other...
Anyone ran across a Windows 10 XML file generator for unattended setup? That Works!!!:D
OK, I am still having problems with this build 10049 and the Local Account creation. I think however I have figured out what is causing the issue, now I just need to figure out how to correct it. I...
I hope it does then it can load and upgrade itself. lol
:p I was able to get by the 'Create Local Account Error' by doing the following: :p

2. Skip Network connection setup
3. Customize or Express Settings(Your...

Slartybart:
I have tried everything except installing from DVD. Will try that in the morning.
I use the English version already.
I am notifying someone that I know that works for Microsoft in Redmond, Washington. May he can find something out..
The 'second' monitor that is seen is the actual laptop monitor. I have another(bigger monitor) that is duplicating the screen.
Installing 10041 over 9926 did work but this certainly isn't a fresh install. Still looking for answers. I am aslso opening a Microsoft Technet Ticket.
I am now trying a Windows 10 build 9926 and do a build to build upgrade from it to 10041:
Install 9926 and lay 10041 over top.
Guess I'll wait for another release to come out. I found a video of an instructor loading WIndows 10 10041 and had the same problem. He changed some of the logon credentials and it work, Mine not...
This didn't work either. :-(
I get the same damned error message 'Something went wrong' after signing in with Microsoft Account and then at the account creation screen.
I'm befuddled...
I'll try that and report outcome in a bit. Depends on download time. :-)
Download is a little slow but half way complete.
