How many rows of tabs would you like?

Quizo's QTTABBAR works well and stably, and allows you to colour the background if off-white gets a bit hard on the eyes.

Nice- and free.. and you can customise lots of colours too to ease eye strain.

However, although it like others allows it to be set as default file manager, setting sthg as default file manager...
