It's always been so. Nothing new there- unless there was something defective in your O/S that prevented that happening, or you had something configured to stop it happening.

I don't understand how there has been a change to that if you are logged in as a standard user and then run it, if that's what you're saying.

How did you install the program? Solely under your standard user account?
