So I ran a utility from Major Geeks called "Complete Internet Repair Tool" which has a whole string of networking components that you can reset and I let it do most of them (leaving out irrelevant...
Addendum: I set up Remote Desktop to connect from client to server via its URL ({servername}.hopto.org, set up via no-ip.com) and it works just fine even though both machines are on the same LAN....
There are 6 PCs on the network, a mix of W10 pro, W10 home, and W7 pro, and a mix of WiFi and cabled
One PC is set up as a "server" (file, print, RDP) and all the rest are user PCs
All but one...
Oh wow.
Wow wow wow - I managed to delete it :) :) :)
Created a new user with Admin rights - logged out - logged in as that user, and used FilExile (OSS utility) to delete DropBox complete with...
...well, yahhh... if you insist on doing it from the CLI ;)
Seriously, that also doesn't work for me. Tried it several times, safe mode and regular, before and after TAKEOWN and CACLS and whatnot....

Hey guys,
All these solutions are great if you can right-click the desktop or go to Control Panel
What if the screen refresh is every couple of seconds, preventing that?
From Ctrl+Alt+Del I...
And when you select "Dismiss"? Does that not let you go into the mail settings to correct it manually?
OK so in case anyone cares, I ran the Windows 10 upgrade again and it seems to have fixed all the problems.
This is a brand new W10 upgrade from a brand new W7 install - did it all on Friday, the deadline day... Long story, but the PC double crashed (HDD, then a day later the mbrd) in the run-up week to...
OK, two major problems with this tutorial.
1. Mail App looks like the first screenshot ONLY if you have already loaded at least one email account. If you haven't, you have exactly two options: Add...
