Mike
then we don't have to run fltmc unload wcifs if we uninstall and reinstall macrium
damn saw the message for update, yes GSOD still there for mounting image in skippy
Crap just downloaded the update and hoped that the GSOD had been fixed by now
as an update, I finally had to do a clean install of bld 18282 to be able to explore macrium images
the "fltmc un load wcifs" command would not work on one machine but did on the other so a clean...
thanks just updated the macrium update, any change on being able to explore image without GSOD?
from PowerShell command prompt as administrator
I get error 0x80070032 unload failed with this error
the request is not supported
yes I am
Mike
setup bat file in scheduler but still doesn't work for me
I am using win10 pro 18272 build
great will give it a try cause I haven't been able to run it from command prompt, I did look at macrium boot USB and was able to check fltmc there and wcifs wasn't loaded from startup disk
did mine today and I thought it was never going to finish
let me know if you get a batch file setup for it
so far no matter how I try it I get error code 0x80070005
count Mike, I was the one who posted about the fltmc fix......unfortunately I have not been able to run it successfully.
I have tried power shell and command prompt with administrator properties but...
yes I tried it in
c:\windows\system32 and it didn't work for me
was reading on the macrium.com forums about running
c:\fltmc unload wcifs
would allow you to not get GSOD while trying to mount an image
I couldnt get it to unload the wcifs.sys file
has anyone...
Have only installed one license so far and used free on another machine, I too got tired of having to always reactivate a license on a new build
Is there any difference between free and commercial macrium patches....I have used free most of the time even though I have four licenses for commercial version
have always installed and put in a sn#, so may go back and try one with a sn# and reboot and see if it still works
just installed macrium free didn't do any sn# yet but the option to install CBT was greyed out
updated the registry and rebooted
no GSOD so far so good
thanks
thanks will edit it and see if it helps
just installed 17093 from iso
installed macrium and rebooted and got GSOD inaccessible boot device
did this again and made a restore point before installing macrium got the same error msg
it would...
